The furniture and the activities in the Tabernacle are shadows that point to the substance of Christ. People have searched for the Ark of the Covenant, but it cannot be found, and for a good reason. The Ark of the Covenant represents Christ. He shed His blood once and for all at the cross, and the annual offerings that were sacrificed in the Tabernacle are no longer needed.
