Many of Abraham’s seed believed they did not need salvation because they had the covenants, the promises, and the law. Although they were anticipating a messiah, they rejected Christ. In the book of Romans, Paul makes it clear why: not all Israel is of Israel. Some have the capacity to respond; many do not. Until God gives the capacity, no one can receive.
