Pastor Scott begins the service with a Mother’s Day message preached by the late Dr. Gene Scott in 1977. She then preaches on Micah 3, where the prophet focuses on the sins of the nation’s leadership. The leaders oppressed the people and allowed lawlessness to run rampant. Though they had the power to turn back to righteousness and law, the leaders loved evil and abhorred judgment. In this, we see a reflection of the state of our own country today.
