There is no such thing as a bloodless gospel. Throughout the entire Bible record, it is by the shedding and application of blood that sins are covered. While many engage in “fig-leaf religion” (attempting to make themselves righteous by their own works), they fail to recognize that great pearl, the precious blood of Christ spilt. It is by His blood that we are covered and have our approach to God.
