Pastor Scott explains how Psalm 22 is a Messianic psalm that depicts the suffering of Christ and His return. This psalm was written by David, but its details cannot possibly refer to David’s own suffering. Rather, it is a prophetic picture of Christ written a thousand years before it became history. Seeing how God brought these things to pass, we can have confidence that He will likewise bring to pass the things He has prophesied for a future time.
