Pastor Scott continues her series on Nehemiah. God showed that He is in control of history by His  prophecies and use of a heathen king, Cyrus, which means He is also in control of our lives. The  challenge of this message is to consider our ways. Are we striving against God’s purposes, talking back  to the Potter? Or are we looking at the pattern of God’s way and saying, “Lord, Thy will be done. If  You accomplished Your purposes with Cyrus, a heathen king, You can do the same with me.”
