When discussing the Lost Tribes, do not confuse the house of Israel with the Jews. Modern Jews no longer practice the rituals of offerings as originally prescribed by God, and they are largely descendants of converts. The northern tribes disappear for a time but reappear in other lands under new names, including the Celts, Vikings, Milesians, and Gauls. These people can be traced through archaeology and secular history.
