“A Remnant Shall Be Saved” Study Notes VF-2428
In the book of Romans, Paul looked to the prophet Isaiah’s declaration that a remnant of the children of Israel shall be saved. Paul addressed Jews who thought their salvation was automatic because they possessed the Scriptures and the law. They could not accept that Christ was the end of the law and that the Gentiles could be saved without it. God wants trust, not perfection; and for that trust, there is eternal salvation through Him.
