Micah paints a prophetic portrait of Christ as the eternal God in the flesh, and as the ruler, both when He came in the flesh and when He returns to rule over the whole earth at the end of time. Although some of Micah’s prophecies deal with doom and calamity, we should take comfort in the knowledge that God has a plan. We should put away false worship and turn back to God while we are still living in a dispensation of God’s forgiveness, mercy, and grace.
