The devil planted seeds of doubt to make Adam and Eve question God and disobey Him. The consequence of sin is death. We are all sinners born in the blueprint of fallen Adam, but Christ shed His blood to reconcile us to God. To obey Him is to run to the voice of the Sayer; to listen to another voice is sin.
