Pastor Scott preaches from Jude and Numbers 16 to warn the church about those who creep in and engage in the “gainsaying” or rebellion of Korah. Korah abused his status as a close relative of Moses and his special position of prominence as a Levite to poison people with his grievances, convincing other disgruntled men of renown to come against the man of God. These rebels tell egregious lies, treat the service they were chosen for as menial and trivial, and have a warped view of the facts. As a consequence, God opened up the earth to swallow up Korah and his rebellious band.
