God’s word makes it clear that what He wants from us is faith. We are not saved by doing good works. James is the only writer in the Bible who focuses on works. When we obediently follow the path that God has laid out for us, we become fruitful. That may look to some like good works, but we do not create them. Salvation comes from God alone. We make it into heaven by faith.
