The thousand-year period after the Great Tribulation will be a foretaste of eternity. The saints of all ages will be resurrected, and Christ will dwell among us and reign in Jerusalem. Eight items that were in the tabernacle and the former temple will be missing from the final temple described by Ezekiel, because they will be fulfilled by Christ. Until that time, we are to stay the course and keep the faith in anticipation of His return.
