The devil wants our minds to be blinded to the reality of heaven to keep us from entering in. But there is a clear picture in the prophecies of Daniel and others of what will happen in a future time and what occurs after death. God has an everlasting kingdom, and we will stand before His throne in His presence and worship Him. The dead will wake up from their temporary sleep, either to everlasting life or shame and contempt. Our time here is preparation for eternity; all we have to do is trust Him. Daniel 7 & 12.
