Eyewitness to the Empty Tomb
At the core of Christianity is the resurrected Christ. Focusing especially on Mark's Gospel and the question of the short ending, the accounts of the empty tomb do not suggest a conspiracy to tell a lie. Mary Magdalene and other women, recorded as the first eyewitnesses to the empty tomb, were not considered adequate witnesses in that day. Their reaction to the news was surprise and awe. The angel reminded them Jesus would meet them in Galilee. Christ will meet you where your Galilee is: right where you live and right where you are. Mark 16.
