Jesus paid it all on Calvary: every sin past, present, and future was laid on Him. It is His performance that covers us, not our own.  Thanks to Christ for our covering. The Ark of the Covenant was covered with a lid of pure gold given the name Mercy Seat; the Hebrew name for the Mercy Seat is "kapporeth" or "covering." Our Heavenly Father gives us that pure gold covering, protecting us from His wrath, for our faith action and trust in Him and His word. Isaiah 53. VF-0352. © Copyright 1983.
