The Parable of the Sower makes it clear that we who are called are the lucky ones.  The principle of the Potter’s House is that God’s the Boss and the purpose is for the Potter (God) to work His will on those He called. His will is the same as in the Garden of Eden: to make man in His image.  Since God the Father gave His Son and His Son gave His life, His purpose in us is to make us into givers. Jeremiah 18.
