January is Firstfruits Month-

“The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God." Exodus 23:19

"Honor the LORD with thy possessions, and with the firstfruits."  Proverbs 3:9

What is meant by “Firstfruits” and why is it important?  Learn from Pastor Scott as she delivered this message in 2008:

“My vocation is to teach people the Word of God. Once you have been taught rightly, you won't be deceived by all of these other ideas that sound plausible to the fleshly mind, but to the Spirit they are an offense and an abomination to the Lord.”

“Giving in its truest form is inextricably tied to Christianity. You cannot separate them.  When your giving to God is done the right way, it pleases Him because God sees the heart and knows the mind and motive. It is the highest and greatest thing you can ever do, as long as you understand why you're doing it.”

“If you have not been taught on why you should give, giving will not make sense to you, and I don’t want you to do anything until I have taught you according to the principles in Galatians 6.  I want you to understand why you should give. So please take out your Bible and follow along...”
