There are seven “feast days” or “set times” in the Old Testament. These provide prophetic pictures of God’s plan of redemption. Four of the feast days have already been fulfilled. The three remaining feasts will unfold in God’s precise time. The birth of Christ was a fulfillment of a set time. Christ could not have been born in December, because there were no Old Testament feast days in that month. At the appointed time, the trumpet will sound, Christ will return, judgment and restoration will come, and God will dwell with His people, perfectly fulfilling His promises.
