1 Corinthians 1:18 lets us Christians know that the preaching of the cross starts a process in each one of us: the process of perishing or the process of being saved. Christ became our kinsman redeemer and paid the price that we might become heirs and adopted sons and daughters and rule and reign throughout eternity with Him. Those with the breath of eternity on their lips know that the death of the cross is the doorway to life eternal, the power of God, and part of the process of being saved.
