| The parable of the pounds teaches the principle that you had better do what the Master says, and the Master says that heaven and earth are the Lord's and the fullness thereof and the tithes and firstfruits belong to Him. Giving tithes and first fruits to the one that teaches you God's word testifies to the recognition of servitude and stewardship and that we are not our own but bought with a price.
