God could not be true to His word and redeem from heaven; only a Kinsman Redeemer could restore the relationship lost by Adam and Eve and reconnect us to life after God said, “For sin comes death”.  The Old Testament Law became our husband, but it could only condemn us and tell us what we needed to do to come up to its standard; the Law couldn’t do anything to save us.  Now, because one man, Adam, put this curse on all of us, God could give us a way of escape by one man, the second Adam, which is Christ who willingly gave the price to reconcile us to our Heavenly Father. VF-0577. © Copyright 1988
