We live so far below of what God wants for us when we lean on the works of our will, our effort, and our flesh in an imitation of Christ. God wants us to have faith in Jesus Christ; the same faith that Christ demonstrated. For faith in Christ, God puts His spirit in us, and that Spirit changes our self-preserving nature into a new dimension of being.
