Paul had been hindered several times when he tried to go to Rome. When God opened the door for him to go, his desire was to impart to the church in Rome the gift of the Spirit. They could be hearers of the Word and that is faith, but there is another dimension of power brought forth by the Holy Spirit. This power produces fruit that is tune with God’s purposes.
