The world doesn’t care what you do in the name of God until it touches money. We see the attack on giving God’s way even in the translations of our English Bible. The Greek word “koinonia” and its derivatives is translated into the English as the following in the New Testament: “fellowship”, “communicate”, and “contribution”. “Fellowship” and “communicate” hide the true meaning of the Greek root and hide the importance of giving to God.
