Volume 2

To begin solving the problems that plague the church today, we must recognize that flesh alone cannot produce fruit for God. In this second volume of the Power to Serve series, Pastor Melissa Scott, Ph.D. teaches on the transformative power of the love of God. The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by way of the Holy Spirit, and as a result, we have become partakers of God’s nature. The love of God in us will accomplish His purpose for us and in us, if we trust in Him. The joy that comes from God is completely different from fleshly joy or happiness. It is a dimension of God’s nature that flows out of divine love. We quench the Holy Spirit in us when we resist or put off God; but when we yield ourselves as surrendered vessels, He will give us peace. God is already working in us and has given us all the tools we need.

Volume 3

In this third and final volume of the Power to Serve series, Pastor Melissa Scott, Ph.D. teaches on the equipping God has given us. We are being transformed by the power of God's Spirit deposited in us. When we yield to God, He will enable us to be profitable to Him.

Christ said that He is the Vine and we are the branches connected to Him. As long as we remain in the Vine, we will bring forth fruit. Without Him, we can do nothing. He has actively equipped us through the inner might and workings of His Spirit. This equipment empowers us to be a fearless church and a beacon of light to a world full of fear, uncertainty, and anxiety.
