Jochebed, the mother of Moses, typifies the mother who will not stop until she finds a way to deliver the helpless. Mary, the mother of Jesus, typifies the love that will not forsake you when everybody else forsakes you. Rizpah, the concubine mother of two of King Saul’s sons, typifies the mother’s love that no matter how despicable you may be, she keeps loving you.
