Faith is an act that does not necessarily require results.  The results belong to God! The Old Testament Hebrew defined Faith as the act of running to the shadow of a rock or running under the wings of a mother-bird. It was not enough to just stand still and believe that the rock would shelter you, and the mother-bird would protect, you had to be in motion and the body acting on it. You don't have New Testament Faith "pistis" until the body, mind and heart are activated and with the will attach yourself to what God has said in obedience to Him and His Word.  Romans 4, 5; Genesis 12, 13.  LF-0184  © Copyright 1980
