The relationship between parents and children is a delicate balance, particularly for Christians. Neither parents nor children are perfect, but it pleases the Lord when children obey their parents and fathers do not provoke and discourage their children. Although raising children according to God's word does not guarantee they will grow up to have faith, God has a way of bringing people back if He wants them.
