Dr. Scott teaches on Prophecy: The geographical region from which the antichrist will emerge requires a history lesson surrounding the Shiite and Sunnis beliefs. The Shiites take the position that they must preserve the lineage of Ali, the son in law of Mohammed, their religious founder.  A doctrine of sinlessness was adopted on the part of the family of Ali, who also claimed that Ali's death was for the atonement of the sins of the world.
