In 1 Kings 17, Elijah acted in faith on God’s word that had already been spoken centuries earlier.  We Christians can do the same thing today by acting in faith on God’s promises in Malachi 3 regarding the tithes.  Many Christians have it backwards, though, regarding Malachi 3:7, where God says, “Return unto me, and I will return unto you”, as we would have God return unto us first and then we will return unto Him.  God expects us to begin acting in faith on His word first. 1 Kings 17; Malachi 3. VF-0622. © Copyright 1989
