In 1 Kings 19:18, God let Elijah know that there were 7,000 in Israel who had not bowed their knees to Baal.  God knew all along, but Elijah didn’t know. The silence of the 7,000 almost brought Elijah to the breaking point, and it was the same kind of breaking point Moses came to with the faithless, older generation of Israelites.  We need to let our leaders, the gifts that God gave to lead us, know they have our support and encourage them with obedient faith in God’s word. 1Kings 17, 19.
