| Hebrews 1 lets us know that Jesus is the heir of all things by whom the worlds were made, upholding all things by the word of His power, who sits on God's right hand. In John 6, when Jesus asks Philip where to buy bread, He was testing Philip to see if He realized who was talking to him: the same omnipotent Jesus. The lesson for us Christians is that more times than not, we reduce our Lord God down to our size and miss the faith opportunity. Philip was counting pennies and Andrew had the faith to bring the lad with 5 loaves and two fishes, but then he added a "but what are they among so many?" instead of flowing in joyous faith, believing for a miracle.
