Faith is not the result of feeling; feeling is the result of faith properly placed. The word “blessed”, in Psalm 84:5, describes a state of being: no quality of which will ever change. This blessedness is not a peak or high of emotion but is the base or foundation on which we stand, and the word “passing” in Psalm 84:6 lets us know that the blessed man or woman is going through change as we are being shaped and growing in our spiritual walk. Psalm 84. VF-0670. © Copyright 1989
