Understanding Communion: Truth vs. Traditions
Partaking communion began as an act of remembrance, recognizing the finished work of Christ at the cross and looking to His future return. There are many traditions in church history that have wrongly interpreted that before you partake you must confess your sins, be confirmed in the faith, or be worthy to partake. We are all unworthy, but we're made worthy, not in any act we do, but by the blood of the Lamb. 1 Corinthians 11:17-30. VF-2412.
