Great error comes from taking text out of context. A turning point occurs in Matthew's gospel as Jesus starts speaking to the multitudes in parables after His rejection. The parables He starts with speak of how the Word is received: a hard heart, a shallow heart and a choked heart will reject the Word, but an open heart will receive the Word. Matthew 12 & 13. VF-2189
