To be told that "it's always sunny", when you are really struggling, ignores the reality of depression that is rampant throughout the world today. Many of those in the Bible also suffered with depression, we can learn from their example. God gives a promise to each of us, which is revealed in Isaiah 52:2; that if you get up, shake yourself off, and by that act of faith, God will begin to loosen the bands that kept you captive.
