There isn't a quick fix for loneliness like popular Christianity tells you: "be more friendly, adopt a pet, etc..." The Apostle Paul, Jesus and many others in the Bible are our example. They show us that 1) loneliness is the lot of every Christian and 2) our loneliness is, as F.B. Meyer says, "an opportunity for Christ to make Himself really known to you." By focusing our mind on God's word and His constant presence, He will use these times to permanently fill the void - conforming us into His image and likeness. 2 Timothy 4. VF-1875
