Any un-surrendered part of our heart or mind is susceptible to what the Bible calls “strongholds.”  These are places of refuge where the devil or his minions go to hide within the believer.  We may find them in our thoughts, our thought processes, within the church, in false teachings, in false interpretation of Scripture...  Anything can become a stronghold, and anyone who is walking in sincerity, earnestly wanting to move forward in the Lord, needs to prayerfully consider this question: what strongholds hinder you?
