Dr. Scott teaches from Hebrews on God's Heroes of Faith: The Message of Jonah was determined to run from the will of God. However, God controlled the storm, God controlled the casting of the lots, and God had the fish right there at the exact moment Jonah hit the water. Sometimes sorrow and chastisement turn up the good sub-soil of an individual.  Jesus made reference to Jonah twice in the New Testament.
