We Christians will never get out of our misery until we abandon the vocabulary of doubt. When the angel of the Lord appeared unto Gideon in Judges 6, Gideon’s response was “Oh my Lord … why then is all this befallen us? Where be all his miracles?” The Lord responded to his doubt with, “have not I sent thee?” and “Surely I will be with thee”. That’s all the Christian needs to know.
