In the Book of Galatians, the Apostle Paul is making it clear that on Calvary, Christ Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament Law and there is no reason to try and keep the Old Testament traditions such as circumcision because outward conformity to a set of rules is no longer required and, in fact, is described by Paul as “bondage” as compared to the “liberty” wrought by Christ Jesus.  The liberty we have in Christ is the gospel and anything else that contradicts that liberty is not a gospel at all.
