The Greek word for faith, “pisteo,” is an action based upon a belief that God said something and the confidence that is sure that because God said it, it will happen. We therefore ought to act on that belief and keep acting even if we die, not having obtained His promised word.  Faith is not designed in terms of results; results belong to God.
