There are only two kinds of people in God’s church: the “I follow Christ” shepherds where Christ is the Chief Shepherd, and those that follow the shepherd as he or she follows Christ. Romans 11:29 makes it clear that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. That calling of God that cannot be turned from is to the sheep just as much as to the shepherds.
