Pergamos: By Faith We Will Overcome
The church at Pergamos gives us a picture that we can glean from today. It's a picture of the world creeping in with strange doctrines to lead people away from the true purpose of the church: gathering together to learn about God through His Word - what He hates, what He loves, and what pleases Him. If we continue to resist the world's encroachments, overcoming by faith, our promise is eternal life with Him. Revelation 2:12-17. Disc 17 of 37 in the Eschatology series. VF-2043
