The principle of the Potter's House is that God's the Boss. The purpose is that we might all be conformed to the image of His Son. The last reference to a potter's field in the New Testament is when the thirty pieces of silver that Judas received as payment for his betrayal of Jesus, was cast aside; that money was used to purchased a potter's field. The price of Christ's life bought the field where all of the rejects are thrown.
