The word "For" in Mark 6:52 is translated from the Greek word "gar", and refers to the fact the disciples were not amazed that Jesus calmed the storm, but at themselves for doubting so soon after the loaves and fishes miracle.  The lesson for us Christians is not to doubt in the circumstance like the disciples had done when there was no money for bread; and then when the miracle comes, not to forget that the same Lord is with us in the next faith opportunity.  And to remember that even when our faith fails, Jesus doesn't give up on us and He's in the boat with us even now.
