The church has a message of taking those who have been delivered from the bondage of sin into the freedom of love. Giving to God characterizes the Christian who has been endued with the Spirit of the same God who gave His Son, who gave His life. As a result, we become hilarious givers. Offerings provide a channel and a focus for recognizing that He gives us our supply of food and strength each day, and tithing provides a governor, or limit, so that the hilarious giver doesn’t give everything away. Leviticus 1 – 7. VF-0600. © Copyright 1988
