Ezekiel was sent to prophesy to his own people, the House of Israel, and was told they wouldn’t listen.  He prophesied of the falling of Jerusalem to Nebuchadnezzar and that King Zedekiah would both not see Babylon and yet die there.  This came to pass when King Zedekiah was blinded and carried away to Babylon.
